AGM 2015

On the 27th of June 2015, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Seafield Board of Librarians had their Annual General Meeting at Dewan Seri Kenangan. The event was hosted by our very own librarians, Wong Yi San and Freeah Ong.

 It was officiated by our most respected Headmistress, Datin Aisah binti Jaman, followed by our dearest Library and Media Teacher, Puan Tan Geok Siew. Our beloved President of the Board of Librarian 2014-2015 gave a heartfelt speech and words of encouragement to motivate the current board of librarians.

Next, the newly appointed librarians of 2015 were given their certificates by our headmistress, Datin Aishah binti Jaman, accompanied by Puan Teo Boon Hwa. President Chong Mun Yin, accompanied by Vice Presidents, Ung Zhee Nedd and Clemen Irwin Tan led them in the librarian pledge.

Then, the outgoing form 5s librarians who serviced their time in the library for the past 3-5 years were presented with their plaque of appreciation. 

Moving on, our special guest, which is also one of our ex-Vice President of the Board of Librarians, Ivan Khoo did an outstanding dance performance that amazed all the librarians and teachers. 

Followed by our very own Singing Group which they presented a piece called ' 21 Guns ' and our Dance Crew called Project Meh. We were blown away by the performances and dances by the talents we have in our librarians.

Next, we have another ex-Vice President of the Board of Librarians and one of the seniors, Lee Loong Kuan and Bay Shin Yee, who were present to give a word of encouragement to the librarians.

Without further ado, it was time to announce the new AJK of the Board of Librarians, followed by the new Top 7 of 2015-2016.

Vice President II : Loh Sze Hou

Secretary : Liew Miin Jye

Treasurer : Art K.Y. Yeo
Vice Secretary : Jaydon Chong Hong Yong

Vice Treasurer : Wong Xin Rou

Next, the visitors who were present were brought for a tour around the school's resource centre. They were led by librarians and accompanied by a few teachers.
